The first step in any of our dental procedures is the consultation, an in-depth process that includes:
- Discussion of your own dental goals and the problem areas you would like to correct
- X-rays and examination of the current state of your smile
- Review of your past and current medical history
- Dialogue about the state of your overall oral health
- Explanation of your bite mechanics
- Thorough overview of the dental procedure options that are available to help you achieve your smile goals
- Before and after photos of actual Galleria Dental Aesthetics patients who have undergone the dental procedure(s) you are considering
- Discussion of procedure costs and payment options through CareCredit® and Mindspring, if necessary
If you are considering a cosmetic dental procedure, it is important that your teeth and gums are healthy enough to properly support the enhancement. It may be necessary to correct underlying dental problems before proceeding to aesthetic restorations.
In some cases we may be able to use our advanced technology to show you what your proposed dental work will look like when the procedure is completed.
Expect to spend approximately 90 minutes during the consultation; you will be glad you did.
