Invisalign is a system of custom-made clear plastic aligners worn over your teeth. Each set of aligners is worn for two weeks, day and night, to straighten your teeth and improve your smile. As your teeth straighten and change, the aligners are replaced with new aligners to continue the treatment process in a comfortable manner.
Invisalign adult patients typically wear the plastic aligners for a year or less, unlike metal braces which can be worn for several years. Another advantage of Invisalign over metal braces is that you can remove the aligners whenever you want to. Invisalign can correct:
