Last week, I was in the middle of a dental emergency. I live 225 miles from McLean, in town on business. I was in need! My wife, who runs my calendar, found Dr. Lee’s office and explained my situation to Bessie. Bessie moved people around to accommodate me. When/if you meet her, you will see that she is welcoming and warm, a great ambassador for the practice. Dr. Lee was a consummate professional, even when he had to give me bad news about my problem. (I had fractured a front tooth/veneer.) He explained it in terms I could understand and gave me options. He saw me at 3:30 PM and had me at an excellent oral surgeon within an hour. Because he didn’t want me having to do business looking like a Jack-O-Lantern, he made me what he called a flipper. That’s a fake tooth that can be worn for cosmetics purposes. Because I was leaving town the next afternoon, he personally delivered material to the dental lab so that it could be ready the following noon, when Dr. Lee delivered it to me. In summary, Dr. Lee and his practice went way out of their way to help me when I really needed it. Let me tell you I’m not just a regular dental patient. I’m suffering from a pretty diabilitating TMJ disorder.
