- A professional teeth whitening treatment completed by a dentist utilizing a higher concentration whitening agent that also contains a buffering agent to relieve any sensitivity.
- A take-home teeth whitening kit provided by a dentist that contains a lower concentration whitening agent.
- An over-the-counter whitening kit, like those available at drug stores and grocery stores containing an even lower concentration of whitening agent.

If you prefer to whiten your teeth in the comfort of your own home and are not concerned with immediate results, we can provide take-home whitening trays customized to fit your teeth. The customized trays ensure the whitening gel reaches all the curves and depressions unique to your teeth. Results from using these trays may take up to two weeks to become apparent.
Over-the-counter whitening trays typically do not provide the best results. Also, the trays in these kits are not customized to your teeth, so the surfaces of your teeth may be unevenly whitened.
In other cases, our patients prefer to brighten their teeth with porcelain veneers or tooth bonding. These cosmetic treatments offer long-term teeth whitening results.
